Answering Your Liquid Gold FAQs

Check out more in-depth answers to the most common Alpha-H Liquid Gold questions our customer care team of skin experts receives below!

How do I use Liquid Gold?

Step 1: After cleansing, saturate a cotton pad and sweep over the face, neck and décolletage.

Alternatively, dispense product into palms and press directly over the skin.

Step 2: Leave Liquid Gold to work unadulterated and avoid following with other products, as this will buffer the efficacy of the treatment.

If your skin is slightly sensitive, you can apply your preferred Alpha-H face oil, moisturiser or serum afterwards, once your skin is touch dry.

Step 3: There is no step 3, you’re already done! Go to sleep and wake up with naturally fresh, glowing skin.

How much Liquid Gold should I use?

1ml of Liquid Gold per use.

This is equivalent to a saturated cotton pad, 20 drops or a 1/3 teaspoon amount in the palm of your hand.

Should I layer Liquid Gold with other products?

For best results, don’t apply a moisturiser over the top of Liquid Gold, as this will buffer the low pH and reduce the efficacy.

If your skin is slightly sensitive or you prefer a more comfortable feel, apply Golden Haze Face Oil afterwards once your skin is touch dry.

How often should I use Liquid Gold?

Thanks to its low pH, you only need to use Liquid Gold 3 nights per week.

Using it every night could actually over-exfoliate your skin, which we definitely don’t want to do.

At Alpha-H HQ, we love to use Liquid Gold on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights because that’s simple and easy to remember.

On the alternate evenings we apply our usual vitamins, moisturisers, and serums.
