14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (4)

Floors and Walls

We’re starting this exquisite collection with a rather splendid toilet. This striking master bathroom belongs in James Bond’s fantasies or Austin Power’s wildest imagination. It is so over the top!

This stunning room starts with cream and coffee-marbled floors that elegantly bleed into the walls. A coffered ceiling leads towards a lovely skylight that boasts the same pattern we see radiating from the bathtub. The vanity areas are settled in their little arched alcoves, decorated with gorgeous tiling in the same color scheme.

Features and Furniture

This luxurious bathroom features a fireplace built into the wall between the two vanity areas. A glorious copper-stone soaking tub sits in the center of the room. Its high edges make it feel super deep, while these unique floor patterns transform the room into an incredible place.

The double vanities feature bowl sinks, rounded mirrors, and gorgeous, rich chocolate hardwood cabinetry. The shower room is almost indiscernible from the rest; it inhabits its little cove lined with some of the most magnificent marble tiling you’ve ever seen.

Decor

With so many bold features in this room, holding off on the decoration is safe to ensure it doesn’t become too much. This room features lovely little framed photos on the more plain portions of the walls, and that is enough! Check out the rest of this beautiful home here.

Pros

  • Luxurious design
  • Unique features
  • Functional layout

Cons

  • Limited decorative space
  • Potential maintenance challenges
  • Space constraints

2. The White Marble Primary Bathroom

Floors and Walls

I love having a live-in spa and luxury bathroom in one area, not as two separate rooms in my home. It’s incredibly comforting in a metropolitan area that can leave me feeling dirty at the end of the day, making a long hot bath necessary.

This heavenly master bathroom is another room using marble from the floor to the ceiling. Still, the marble tiling boasts a gorgeous ivory and light gray color scheme this time. Windows in nearly every direction make the room feel even brighter and airier.

Features and Furniture

This beautifully spacious and luxurious bathroom features a vanity that lines an entire room wall. It has shining white cabinets and two large bowl sinks. The shower room is in the corner and obscured with fogged glass walls.

My favorite bathroom feature here is the egg-shaped bathtub. It would be so neat to bathe in a tub of an odd shape. And, of course, we can’t go wrong with a little balcony of a master bathroom inside a mansion bedroom. It’s where we can sip champagne and strawberries on a Sunday morning.

Decor

This master bathroom is so elegant and gorgeous that it doesn’t need much decoration. However, I still see some clever lighting and lovely little cosmetics trays. All I need are some fluffy bath mats, and I’ll be all set for some spa time.

Pros

  • Luxurious aesthetics
  • Natural light
  • Spacious vanity

Cons

  • High maintenance
  • Privacy concerns
  • Balcony practicality

3. The Getaway Soak Primary Bathroom

14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (7)
14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (8)

Floors and Walls

While so many large bathrooms are adorned with lighter color schemes, seeing one boasting so many darker tones is rather dramatic. This approach makes the room feel like a private den, just for relaxation.

This fantastic master bathroom features dark hardwood floors and walls painted in a similar shade. The dramatic contrast between these dark elements and the room’s light features is surprising. The lighter ceiling and dark walls also make the room look tall!

Features and Furniture

I adore how this gloriously deep and generous bathtub sits before its window, revealing a pleased money tree. Beautiful and unique cabinetry work lines the other wall of the room, with clever lighting to illuminate the contents on the counter.

Decor

The good thing is that luxury bathrooms don’t need additional decoration as they already contain everything they require. Items and products of relaxation and beauty are also lovely. We see fluffy towels, beautiful balms and elixirs, and bouquets of fresh flowers for both fragrance and color.

Pros

  • With a convenient towel rack
  • Strategic placement of bathtub
  • Unique cabinetry and clever lighting

Cons

  • Limited light
  • Maintenance challenges

4. The Cathedral Primary Bathroom

14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (10)

Floors and Walls

This reminds me of one of those homes that I see on a Netflix show. It’s just based on showing the most beautiful homes in the world. I imagine bathing in this room, even just once, let alone for the rest of my life.

Gorgeous tiling with ornate star emblems decorates the floor. Meanwhile, ivory-colored paint accentuates beautiful arched frames that double as countertops. A colossal doorway that strolls out to the veranda. Star-shaped skylights mirror the mansion bathroom designs on the floor.

Features and Furniture

I appreciate that the bathtub is in the very middle of the room. It tells me that this room has only one purpose: relaxing. This low-set soaking tub in a rectangular shape cleverly has a surface at one end for soaps, bouquets, and glasses of libations.

Decor

Again, another room that is so gorgeous. It does not require anything beyond a magnificent view and a bouquet.

Pros

  • Luxurious aesthetics
  • Architectural elegance
  • Natural light and outdoor access

Cons

  • Limited privacy

5. The Royal Primary Bathroom

14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (12)

Floors and Walls

Regality and luxury don’t even begin to describe this master bathroom space. While it’s exquisite, it’s playful in the way that it’s fancy. It’s so over the top that it’s almost silly, starting with the black and white checkerboard floors.

White-tiled walls enrobe the spacious room. Meanwhile, wooden framing around the windows and on the ceiling successfully warms up the space. The space’s antique features, combined with the interior, are exceptional and remarkable.

Features and Furniture

It almost feels like this large bathroom belongs in a period piece about Queen Anne. While I am not sure what the golden cage in the back of the room is for, I adore how the sink area is mounted on an antique stone table with two top-mount bowl sinks made of gold!

A golden-facaded armoire sits astride the chic, modern white bathtub – a refreshing element of modernity in an overall antique space. I’d love to think a walk-in closet is not visible in this luxury bathroom.

Decor

The golden and crystal chandelier makes this room even more over the top – I don’t mean that negatively! It’s playful, loud, and stylish, and the crystal chandelier makes it even more elegant.

Pros

  • Exquisite design
  • Playful elegance
  • Antique features

Cons

  • Potential lack of functionality
  • Maintenance challenges
  • Limited Versatility

6. The Bright & Simple Primary Bathroom

14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (13)
14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (14)

Floors and Walls

It’s funny to call this master bathroom modest since it only seems that way because the other luxurious mansion bathrooms we’ve seen so far have been wildly extravagant! Nevertheless, this is a beautiful mansion bathroom that would spark joy in anyone.

Simple and small white tiles line the floors, while cream walls with very light gray trim adorn the walls. This subtle incorporation of color difference between the wall and trim gives it a fresh and elegant look that people don’t often think of!

The soaking tub snugly sits by corner windows, providing an ideal spot for a lengthy soak. Also, the mirrors by the vanity cleverly reflect the same shape as the tub alcove.

Features and Furniture

I love these twin vanities. They share a surface with light gray countertops, cream drawers, open towel shelving, and two simple top-mount sinks. The modern bathtub is sleek and perfect for a single soaker.

Decor

This perfect master bathroom doesn’t need decoration. I might add a light brown bath mat and a happy purple orchid on the windowsill; otherwise, it’s complete.

I sourced this luxury bathroom from Zillow. Check the rest of the home design here.

Pros

  • Clean and timeless design
  • Functional layout with visible towel rack
  • Versatile decor options

Cons

  • Limited storage
  • Dependence on natural light

7. The Ultimate Relaxation Bathroom

14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (15)
14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (16)

Floors and Walls

I would spend much time in modern mansion bathrooms like this. It’s spacious, modern, incredibly inviting, and comfortable looking. Slick white floors meet smooth white walls and a white ceiling. Black framing around the windows is always a great idea to make something modern and fresh.

Features and Furniture

There are endless features in this beautiful space. I’ll start with the beautiful stone fireplace. It’s situated right beside the gorgeous egg-shaped bathtub and also by a flat-screen TV. Who wouldn’t want to watch The Titanic in the bath? It would have been perfect with a walk-in closet here as well.

Next, we have a sophisticated, rounded, clear glass shower enclosure and a sweet lounging ottoman, perfect for a calm and casual dry-off. The vanity area features simple cabinetry and a circular mirror with recessed lighting behind it for fantastic illumination.

Decor

While the room is bare, it could use some gorgeous, huge plants for color and life. I’ll place a colorful rug in the middle of the room and maybe some fun trinkets on the fireplace mantle.

This fantastic luxury bathroom design is from Zillow. Check the rest of the house design here.

Pros

  • With a spacious and inviting atmosphere
  • Luxurious features
  • Functional design

Cons

  • Potential high cost
  • Maintenance challenges

8. The Long Soak Bathroom

14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (17)
14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (18)

Floors and Walls

This gorgeous room does a beautiful job of balancing dark tones with lighter tones. Dark stone floors give way to dark geometric tiles that coat the entire shower and bathtub area. With the blinds closed it feels rather dark. I can imagine it’s luminous in here when they’re open.

Features and Furniture

I enjoy that this master bathroom features an entire bathing room rather than just a bathtub and shower room. Two waterfall shower heads hang on either side of the rounded bathtub. A glass wall separates this part of the room. On the other side, we see a dark vanity with a white top-mount sink.

Decor

It’s another luxury bathroom with no extra decoration. Yet, with a shower room as big as this, it’s just begging for some humidity-loving tropical plants.

Canny designed this lovely bathroom. Check the rest of this home over here.

Pros

  • Aesthetic balance of dark tones
  • Spacious bathing area
  • Unique design elements

Cons

  • Potential darkness
  • Maintenance challenges
  • Space utilization

9. The Stone Primary Bathroom

14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (19)

Floors and Walls

This highly modern master bathroom is a lovely place to prepare for another day. It’s industrial-inspired by its cement floors and huge black framed garage-style windows. At the same time, we grow elegant with the impressive marbled stone walls for the shower room.

Features and Furniture

A deep and rounded soaking tub in white porcelain sits in front of huge windows. Meanwhile, a tall rectangular shower room beside the windows steals the show. I can almost imagine a sauna sitting next to these two features!

Decor

We often forget about lighting in the bathroom. It’s ironic since flattering lighting should be a priority in a room where we’re most frequently naked. That’s why seeing three wicker light fixtures hanging over the bathtub is so lovely. Now, all that is missing is some textured bath mats, huge plants, and fluffy towels.

This tremendous bathroom design comes from Ceramiche Refin. Check the rest of the home design here.

Pros

  • Impressive marbled stone walls
  • Natural light and views
  • Thoughtful lighting design

Cons

  • Potential lack of privacy
  • Maintenance challenges
  • Limited storage

10. The Windowed Primary Bathroom

14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (20)
14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (21)

Floors and Walls

This is what I call a dream bathroom. While we can’t see too much of it, the idea is clear that this is probably one of the most fantastic mansion bathrooms ever imagined and executed.

This gorgeous space is simple yet elegant: shined concrete floors and window walls from the floor to the ceiling framed in warm-hued hardwood. Concrete finishes everything off with the ceiling as well. Walls like this make me feel like I’m bathing outside, yet safe from the bugs.

Features and Furniture

This modern, elegant bathtub is so deep that it begs two people to soak. I adore the dimpled outer wall and the tall and elegant black faucet. What I find incredibly neat is that a waterfall shower head is above this bamboo floor mat, which has a drain set underneath, creating an open shower space.

Decor

This room feels entirely complete to me. All it took was a couple of potted plants to match the bathtub and an unimpeded view of the incredible tropical landscape outside.

This marvelous luxury bathroom design comes from Jesse Bennett. Check the rest of the home design over here.

Pros

  • Dream luxury bathroom ambiance
  • Simple yet elegant design
  • Innovative open shower space

Cons

  • Privacy concerns
  • Maintenance challenges
  • Climate sensitivity

11. The Boulder Tub Bathroom

14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (22)
14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (23)

Floors and Walls

Well, this is undoubtedly a unique room. This incredible master bathroom space still feels cohesive and endlessly luxurious. It comes in three parts with three entirely different materials and looks to them.

The shower room boasts a sanded pebble floor with limestone tile walls with other notable features:

  • Limestone tile floors with dark
  • Wooden-colored tiles for the walls and ceiling
  • The outdoor shower features limestone-tiled floors
  • Walls with a beautifully decorative seashell window that peeps to the outside.

Features and Furniture

Each portion of this luxury bathroom is special in its own right. Every day, we can choose whether to:

  • Clean the indoor shower with brass hardware quickly
  • Take a long soak in the hollowed-out boulder bathtub
  • Or enjoy the morning sun in the waterfall outdoor shower

Decor

This room is so impeccable by its base design that it doesn’t need much decoration, though it could use a bit! We get an attractive ribboned light fixture, yet I’d love to see some ornamental grass, a patterned bath mat, and some plants!

The House Designers designed this remarkable room. Check the rest of the home here.

Pros

  • Unique and luxurious design
  • Versatile shower options
  • Natural elements integration

Cons

  • High maintenance
  • Limited privacy in the outdoor shower
  • Functional limitations

12. The Cove Primary Bathroom

14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (24)
14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (25)

Floors and Walls

This room is one of my favorites in the collection. It could be the lighting, the beautiful stone, or the combination of both.

Beautiful limestone tiles grace the floors, while stacked stones embellish the walls. Cream paint adorns the arched ceilings, and the bathtub boasts stunning landscape windows.

Features and Furniture

I appreciate how ergonomic this room is. The vanity lines the entire wall and features beautiful wooden cabinets, a limestone countertop, and a stainless steel sink – which I rarely see in bathrooms!

The bathtub is nestled into its little nook and set with limestone siding and windows on every side. The mirror reveals a little fireplace built into the stone wall that we don’t see. That’s why this master bathroom design shot to the top of my list.

Decor

This well-lived luxury bathroom showcases perfect decoration. Happy potted plants, vintage bottles, and vases line the counters. Additionally, beautiful hanging lights contribute to the perfect ambiance.

The House Designers designed this luxury bathroom. Check out the rest of the home design here.

Pros

  • Ergonomic design
  • Unique fireplace feature
  • Thoughtful decor

Cons

  • Potential for limited privacy
  • Maintenance challenges

13. The Marbled Primary Bathroom

14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (26)
14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (27)

Floors and Walls

This master bathroom reminds me of the types of bathrooms I used to see when skiing in Vale with my ex-boyfriend and his wealthy family. While I am not the type to ever own a mansion, I adore being around people who have worked for that luxury.

This stunning bathroom features stonework from the floor to the ceiling with an almost tiramisu color theme. Surprisingly, the stonework on the floor, bathtub siding, shower walls, and ceiling are the same! They’ve kept the trim cream-colored. I don’t think stone trim is possible, yet I’m sure they would have done it if it were.

Features and Furniture

This beautiful space features a bathtub nestled into a little nook with a towel rack or rod on top of the head area. It has windows on every side, a massive vanity with a single sink, and craftsman-style cabinetry. There are also huge mirrors lining the entire thing, which should have been perfect in a walk-in closet setup.

Decor

Usually, I would put an ottoman under the furniture section. However, this ottoman feels like it’s there for something extra. This gorgeous rounded ottoman features velour mauve upholstery, dimpled cushion, and ornate siding. It’s the perfect place to brush our teeth and dry off or simply contemplate life in this beautiful area.

This fantastic mansion bathroom design is from Architectural Designs. Check the rest of the home here.

Pros

  • Consistent stonework
  • Well-designed features
  • Unique ottoman addition

Cons

  • Potential for high maintenance
  • Single sink vanity

14. The Clawfoot Tub Bathroom

14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (28)
14 Marvelous Mansion Bathroom Inspirations (29)

Floors and Walls

We’re finishing off this collection with one of my favorites. It’s because it’s stylish, and the features are attainable by different demographics of folks and homes.

Unusual brick-lay tiles cover the floor, and the walls boast an almost iridescent pearly color. A massive window frame in black offers a fantastic way to create drama and contrast.

Features and Furniture

My favorite part about this room is the cabinetry work. It has a midcentury modern feel, with ribbed wooden and marble countertops. The squared mirrors with rounded edges are also a cute touch.

Meanwhile, a black clawfoot tub in the middle of the room is attractive and elegant. I can hardly contain myself!

Decor

This is one of the only mansion bathrooms in the collection with intentional decorating. It makes me so happy! Rustic bath mats sit before each vanity, while candles sit atop the bathtub ledge. Also, sunny lighting sits on either side of the mirrors, and potted plants sit on the countertops. This is what I call perfection!

This particular luxury bathroom design comes from Architectural Designs. Check the rest of the home here.

Pros

  • Stylish and attainable features
  • Unique flooring and wall finishes
  • Midcentury modern cabinetry

Cons

  • Limited privacy
  • Clawfoot tub placement
